I stayed in a single room, and it WAS very cute! The window looked out onto the street. There were LOTS of nice touches, like outlets and a coffee and tea maker. The shower WAS great.
The breakfast was not the BEST. The cooked breakfast seemed quite greasy. I still ate it THOUGH.

Breakfast was cooked to order each morning of my stay. The options included Scottish standards, giving me a taste of local cuisine. The dining area was conveniently located downstairs from the rooms.

The hotel WAS in a great spot for the west end. I saw many shops, restaurants, and cafes nearby. The subway station was literally across the road.

The location was excellent, very close to the subway! The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really lovely. The rooms were comfortable and clean.
The pillows smelt awful I couldn't grasp what it was. They smelt like old stale cheesy socks, I asked for replacements though they smelt the same.

pillows smelled like dirty socks, this is true. i requested replacements, they brought more smelly pillows, oh joy. that really ruined it for me, i must say.
